Subscribing to Access to History Online
costs just £275 + VAT for a full institutional site licence. In
order to get full access, and build a course that contains the units/modules
that your school needs, just follow these simple steps:
- Check that the site features or is going to feature
the topics you need for your specification by visiting the relevant
topic overview:
- Go to the home page and click on subscribe now (or click
here to subscribe)
- Fill in your school details here and post or e-mail your
order to our distributor, Bookpoint. A letter featuring your log-in
and password will be sent to you from Bookpoint, within a few days.
You will need to ensure that the invoice accompanying this letter is
paid in full.
- Your subscriber letter will contain your unique username
and password. Please keep it somewhere safe.
If you lose it, please call 020 7873 6293
or email admin@accesstohistory.co.uk,
giving full details of your name, school name and address.
- Log in using your new username and password, complete
your user registration and you will then be sent to the teacher subscriber
page, where you will be able to nominate your preferred specification(s)
and create your own course content.
- You will be able to select topics for up to twelve units/modules:
either two specifications with one topic per unit/module in each, or
one specification with two topics for each of six units/modules. You
can change your selection at any time, at no extra cost.
- Create a student password and inform your students of
this and the centre username (which is the same as the one you use).
They’ll need their password to view the content of the course
you’ve created. It’s important you don’t give them
the teacher password as they’ll then be able to view the course
creation tools designed for your use.
